This weekend I had the pleasure of doing a fun shoot for my sister-in-law, Kaylen, and her friend Lauren. They are both Yoga teachers and they decided on Allegretto Vineyard Resort for their photo shoot location.
This place is so cool, with European architecture and a touch of South-Asia decor to it. It was a refreshing sight from the all-so-common ---There are sculptures, pieces of art, vintage door and statues from all over the world. There was a petrified piece of wood that was recovered from the Ganges River in one of the gardens. A Ganesh carved in wood from Bali, this piece was about 5 feet tall and I'm guessing well over 500 lbs.
But the best part was the peace and calm that surrounded this place. That combined with the architecture and the spiritual elements, made you feel like you were in a different country.
Kaylen and Lauren displayed some amazing postures and techniques. I am not very knowledgeable in this area but I could tell that not only did they know what they were doing, they were enjoying what they were doing. And let me tell you, the stuff they were doing was not easy in any way but they made it seem that way.
Here are a few more photos of our session.
